Icelandic Film Soups

During the month of August 2025 I had the opportunity to go on residency to the Fish Factory in Stöðvarfjörður, Iceland. I spent the month walking, connecting with the landscape and harvesting local plants. Using the local flora and fauna I developed colour and black and white rolls of film that I shot while on my walks. I then used salt to fix the negatives, making it a fully eco process. I used rhubarb, blueberries, seaweed, dandelion, angel angelica and dotted loosestrife. The final 3 images in the gallery were developed with angel angelica and then soaked in salt for 1 week.
